Hallyu star Jang Keun-suk, who was originally scheduled to perform in Taiwan for one day, will hold an additional show tonight for the Taiwan leg of his ongoing Asia tour, according to his agency Tree J. Company on Friday.
Tree J. announced through a press release that Jang will meet with a total of 8,000 fans for his tour “THE CRI SHOW” to be held tonight and tomorrow at the gymnasium of National Taiwan University in Taipei of Taiwan.
An official from Tree J. explained to 10Asia over the phone that they decided to hold an extra show in Taiwan because they received numerous requests from fans who were unable to purchase tickets for Saturday's show.
"I'm really excited that I will be able to see my fans in Taiwan and I have prepared many events for the show and I hope that you enjoy it," Jang was quoted as saying in the press release.
Jang kicked off his six-country Asia tour in late April where he so far has performed his debut Japanese single "Let me cry" and several other songs for his fans in Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand and Malaysia.
Making his debut as a catalog model at the early age of five, Jang has starred in a number of hit TV series such as SBS' "He Beautiful" and "Marry Me, Mary."
He also made his singing debut in Japan with the release of the single "Let me cry" which had topped Oricon's weekly chart and is currently working on film “You’re My Pet (translated title)” alongside actress Kim Ha-neul.
