[Article] [Yesterday TV] ‘Pretty Boy’ Jang Keun-suk, making women melt
[OSEN=Oh Min-hee] His daily life is a pictorial. His always glowing looks enables him to live off older women and learn the real value of money. His next target is shaman. She is a difficult target since she is a manipulator who knows how to control people by reading their minds. However, Jang Keun-suk is still confident. He knows how to use his puppy eyes and trigger women's protective instinct. He used his cute appeals to play with female hearts.
In KBS 2TV Wed/Thur drama 'Pretty Boy'(writer Yoon Young-ah, director Lee Jae-sang, Jung Jung-hwa) episode 4 aired on 28th, Hong Yoo-ra(Hang Chae-young) gave Elec shaman(Kim Ye-won) as Dok Go-mate's(Jang Keun-suk) next quest. He will be learning how to control human mind.
Mate visits Elec shaman right away and asks her to tell him how to control people's thoughts. She refuse his request at once but reveals that she is falling for his looks. Although she acts cold to him, she can not hide her eyes following him. As soon as Mate leaves, she tries to calm down her fluttering heart and red face.
Despite knowing how Elec feels, Mate asks her out on a date and strives to make her laugh. He is generous and sweet throughout the daye, giving her a candy cotton as present. She also touch her in a friendly way which made the female viewers' heart pound.
In the play, Mate is as good looking to become the nation's treasure. His mere existence makes the women happy. Although there is a limitation to make the cartoon character come true in reality, Jang Keun-suk's lacking characteristic make him look more cute. His lively act is captivating the viewers as the real come-to-live pretty boy.
In every episodes, Jang Keun-suk is making female viewers melt. He is expected to revive the low rating 'Pretty Boy' with his captivating charms.
'Pretty Boy' will be featuring Dok Go-mate(Jang Keun-suk), who is pretty enough to become the nation's treasure, encountering ten women in super class and learn their know hows to become successful. He will be playing unpredictable romance with Kim Bo-tong(IU) as couple.

[Ep. 4 Article] 'Pretty Boy' Jang Keun-suk·Lee Jang-woo first encounter,cheesy fighting over IU
[OSEN=Oh Min-hee] ‘Pretty Boy’ Jang Keun-suk and Lee Jang-woo showed cheesy war of nerve generating laughs.
In KBS 2TV Wed/Thur drama 'Pretty Boy'(wirter Yoo Young-ah, director Lee Jae-sang, Jung Jung-hwa) episode 4 aired on 28th, Kim Bo-tong arranged the meeting for Dok Go-mate(Jang Keun-suk) and Choi David(Lee Jang-woo).
Dok Go-mate got suspicious of Kim Bo-ton who tried to sell the socks through home shopping. He said he will personally meet the director in charge.
When Dok Go-mate offered his handshake with a smile, David said "It is you pretty bad busy boy." and generated laughs. Mate also said to himself with a smile. "It is you men version of Kim Bo-tong."
Afterwards, David and Kim Bo-tong showed fantastic chemistry when sock dancing. But Mate was in a bad mood to see them so sweet together. He makes a biting remark, "The two should go out for a gag contest."
David responds, "How harsh. You have so little affection to your item. I am not sure we can work together." and he meanhingfully says that Kim Bo-tong's pure love is wasted.
Meanwhile, the drama is based on the same titled cartoon 'Pretty Boy' featuring Dok Go-mate encountering successful ten women all in super class. The pretty boy will be alluring the women to learn know hows to becoming successful. 'Real Bo-tong' Kim Bo-ton(IU) will be featuring

[EP. 3 Article] Pretty Boy, falling for Jang Keun-suk's magnetic charms
[OSEN=Park Jeong-sun] KBS 2TV Wed/Thur drama 'Pretty Boy' captivated female viewers' hearts with Jang Keun-suk's magnetic charms.
In 'Pretty Boy' that aired on the 27th, Jang Keun-suk generated laughs with his cute bluffing opposite to his perfect visual. Also with his manly charms, he garnered the viewers attention.
Dok Go-mate(Jang Keun-suk) stands in front of a full-length mirror neatly dressed up. He shows narcissism by saying "Oh my you" in front of the mirror. In the street he is aware of the girls looking at him and starts posing for them. When he encountered Elecseonneo(Kim Ye-won) for the first time, he showed off his face side line.
This wasn't all. He looks like he will only eat dewdrops, but he shows his twisted charms by showing an extraordinary eating act. He claims that he is a vegetarian but he not only gobbled down the ribs but also gobbled down Kim Bo-tong's(IU) cooked eggs this day.
However in front of his goal, he was more serious than ever. Dok Go-mate is conquering every quest Hong Yoo-ra(Han Chae-young) is giving. In this episode, he finally found out the real value of money and the know how from Jack-hee(So Eu-jene). He said "Money is like a living thing. If you grow it with heart, it grows but if it becomes too big it can eat you. So I can disappear and only money can be left." Yoo-ra delivered his second quest, "Go to the next woman. Learn how to control others."
Dok Go-mate is playing hard to get with the viewers between comedy and seriousness. As he met his first woman, there will be nine more women left for him to meet and nine more quests left. He is highly expected to show various charms as he conquers the quests.
Meanwhile, 'Pretty Boy' aired this day hit 5.4%ratings according to Nilsen Korea.

In KBS 2TV Wed/Thur drama 'Pretty Boy' episode 3 that aired on the 27th, Jack-hee(So Eu-jene) proposed to Dok Go-mate(Jang Keun-suk). But Elecseonneo(Kim Ye-won) told her a bad fortune so that she can keep selling her expensive lucky charms.
Jack-hee reconsiders her relation with Mate when the fortune teller said "money is going to leak" and actually she had to pay ten billion won for tax. Jack-hee rescues Mate from a car accident. Mate was moved by her throwing herself to save him. But she says "I realized how much I love you. But I don't love you as much as I love my money. Let's break up."
Mate asked "How can money be more precious than life?" Jack-hee said "From my childhood, I was poor and ugly. I wasn't even good at studying so I was always passed unnoticed. But as soon as I started earning money, people treated me differently. They want to eat with me and they are all nice to me."
Jack-hee asked, "She said my fortune will disappear if I marry you. Can you stand by me when I become penniless?" Mate was not able to answer.
Afterwards, he called Yoo-ra and said "I know what money is now. Money is like a living thing. If money grows too big, it can eat you. So people forget who they really were."
Yoo-ra said "You will be earning a lot of money but you won't be eaten by it like Jack-hee." She told Mate that he finished his first quest.
She ordered his second quest, which was to learn how to control other peoples' mind from Electseonneo. This raising curiosity.
