[video] Jang Keun Suk memories IV - 2017-06-25

Jang Keun Suk rocked the house in 2012 in Taiwan with Cri Show II. The stage costs him millions of dollars, but he was determined to put on a show like no other show. A one of a kind show that would be remembered forever and be the ultimate in entertainment.

Specifically for the Asia tour CRI SHOW 2, he used the best and most expensive equipment for the stage - production costs alone exceeded 13 billion won [almost 11.5 million USD in today's currency] – so the level of the stage was completely different from other concerts.

Jang Keun Suk moved along with all of his stage equipment from China to Eastern Asia. The entire stage was reminiscent of the shape of a wine glass and there was a large screen in the middle, and others to the right and left for a total of three large screens. Jang told his Seoul audience, “I planned this show as an amusement park for adults."

The concept of the tour was "Welcome to the Magic World" and befittingly, the performance was riddled with wizards and haunted houses, reminiscent of a theme park. He enticed the audience with his mysterious image as a magician but also a sexy and frighteningly charismatic character.

Media reports flooded in from all over Asia praising this outstanding show. In all, he went to 11 cities for 16 performances all over Asia and had a combined total 163,000 fans at the concerts. The Cri Show II tour lasted a long five months.

He even spoke a little Chinese for his audience in Taipai.

And he never failed to take time to talk to and interact with his audience, just as he does now. That's part of his magic...a magic most other entertainers at that time failed to do. As a result, he won the hearts of Eels - and even their parents - all over Asia.

  1. Espectacular πŸ–’πŸ˜Š

  2. I had no idea it was so expensive!!! Good grief!

  3. Wow...I never knew the stage was that expensive..but as he said..if he wants to do something he will not look at the money..I'm sure he had to fight for this one...wonder if he earned much for this tour. Surely he made an impact like no other..

Thank you for sharing with us, Cri!
